Yes, we have an awesome local music scene and some killer venues. But Western New York is stepping up its festival game and we’re stoked. Here are the three music festivals you need to hit up in the next 4 months:

The Old Favorite:
Jam in the Valley, July 5-7

New York State’s longest running country music festival is only 45 minutes from Buffalo. Celebrate the 4th of July, then head out to Varysburg for a weekend of beers, camping and partying. Sounds like a kickass summer weekend to us. Check out more details here.

The Personal Favorite:
Cobblestone Live

It’s going to be alright, we’ve all recovered from the (not so brief) freakout after hearing Broken Social Scene was headlining. This festival though… where do we start? Outdoors in the historic cobblestone district, over 30 artists, 4 stages – all in the city?! Hell yeah. After last year’s success – year 2 of Cobblestone Live is already living up to expectations. Stay tuned over the next few weeks for our local band series where we’ll be featuring artists taking part in this year’s fest. Get those tix now! You don’t want to miss one minute of Cobblestone Live.

The New Guy:
Borderland Music + Arts Festival – September 22 & 23

FINALLY. Knox Farm State Park as a backdrop to a fall music festival may be the best idea we’ve heard so far in 2018. Local vendors, craft beer, artists and one highly anticipated musician lineup – all just 15 minutes from Buffalo.
