Welcome to the new Feature Friday!
If you missed last week, check this shit out! We’ve emigrated the local business/artist/non profit features to be spread out over the week. The events you actually will want to attend, they’re up on our new events calendar (give us a shout when you want us to promote your event too!) That means that Fridays are ALL ABOUT THE INSTAGRAMS. Has your feed been loaded with memes and spam? This is your place of zen. Just the beautiful photos. That’s the theme with #RiseBFLO.
We post our favorite shots from around WNY on our blog and share on social – to introduce you to new photographers, professional and amateur, and inspire you to find that perfect angle, start a conversation over a photo, and contribute to the #RiseBFLO community. Now, for three to four weeks at a time, this weekly roundup will be sponsored by a local business. We’ll continue to round up our favorite shots, and those that include #RiseBFLO will be entered to win awards from that sponsor.
From now until Friday May 13, this feed is brought to you by Revolution Indoor Cycling. Rev@Jada – Sunday, 5/22. 11:30am RevRide with Amanda (free class) followed by bowling at Transit Lanes (1 minute down the street) with special needs kids and teens with the organization Fantastic Friends of WNY.RevCity – Saturday, 6/4, 9:45am – 10:45am Rev+Total Body with Colleen & Brandon followed by 1.5 mile drive to Public School 45 for 2 hour clean-up and raising of garden beds.Saturday, 6/5 – Girls on the Run, UB North Campus. Rev volunteer group will be handing out the medals after the race. Run starts at 9am, medal ceremony approx. 11am.
