Being asked to participate in Feature Friday is great for me because it preys on both my obsession with playlist creation and the fear that everyone else can hear what I’m listening to. I’ve got a playlist for every Season dating back to “Summer 2010” and it would have gone back further had I not deleted my mid-to-late 2000’s work. What you’re listening to today is a collection of “Spring 2015” and “Run 16”, so there’s a lot of sunny, 80’s inspired pop/electronica. If I spent half as much time running as I did making running playlists, there would be no time for anything else in the day. That’s how I’ve justified not running, so don’t poke any holes in my logic. It’s safe to say I don’t control the playlist at the shop for public espresso + coffee too often. Now that our pour-over coffee and espresso bar is open seven days a week in the Hotel Lafayette, I have to show a lot of restraint.___________________________________
