On Monday we held our third #AssemblyNight class at our shop in The Lafayette. We discussed the v60 pour over and how to perfect and hone your brewing technique. This coming Monday we'll be discussing milk steaming + latte art basics and will be holding a mini latte art throwdown with those in attendance. Spring announced itself and today was the day she chose to step out onto the ice. I asked her why she did it. Buffalo harbor at sunset. Every time I pass by the Naval Park, I can't help but be remembered of my father and all the times he took me on these ships and to his Navy functions. Almost 5 years later and I still miss him more and more each day. I think he would have really enjoyed my new found hobby in photography.

Even in the rubble there is always light. ???? One of my favorite things about being a photographer is chasing that perfect light.
