$25 for unlimited beer and wine you say?
More importantly, it goes to THE GREATEST CAUSE: Our friends at Matt Urban Human Services Center.
We’ve partnered with Matt Urban on a newspaper in the past. Check out this article from Sarah Gorry. The approach they take to homelessness and community development was ground breaking, and its success has made Matt Urban’s a model adopted across the country.
We do love these folks, and would love to see you at Iron Works on Friday September 14. Here’s all the details:
The Matt Urban Center has been serving the East Side of Buffalo for over 40 years, providing programs and initiatives that enhance the quality of life for all residents—from children through seniors, and homeowners to the homeless.
Our agency serves over 20,000 clients per year, with services ranging from food pantries and supportive housing for homeless individuals, to crime victims assistance, housing repair and homeownership programs, senior services and youth programs.
Buffalonia is an opportunity to celebrate the difference that our programs make in the community and to raise critical funds to sustain their work in the future.
The event will feature a live music by the Tim Britt Band and DJ Ryan Howze, beer and wine, food, raffles, games on the patio, and a photo booth! Ru’s Pierogi Food Truck will also be on site dishing up pierogi and Sassi Cakes will be selling their delicious desserts.
Cost of admission will include unlimited beer and wine, parking, and entertainment.
Pre-sale tickets are $25 and can be purchased online at www.buffalonia.org or in person at the Matt Urban Center (1081 Broadway) or Buffalo Iron Works (49 Illinois Street). Tickets will be available at the door for $30.
