Earlier this week, we went down to the Cobblestone district to talk with Josh Holtzman of Buffalo Iron Works about his project, Cobblestone Live. A couple years in the making, Josh is teaming up with Lockhouse Distillery to bring hundreds of people down to the neighborhood for a shit ton of live music and more. We’re really excited to see this happening. After throwing a couple events of our own, we know the insane amount of work that goes into the planning and permits, especially ones where you need to work with the city to get streets closed off. But they’ve gone even further by booking national acts on top of local ones, plus all the food and booze that is a mainstay for summer festival season.

Started as a public conversation B-Heard Bikes are back on the streets of Allentown. . From @_buffalorising – University at Buffalo professor Stephen Goss (a visiting assistant professor with the Graduate School of Education at the time) instructed students from Middle Early College High School (MECHS) to paint a number of broken down bikes, which they then inscribed with poetic words.
