The Allen St. Poutine Co. is doubling down on Hertel Avenue

Another Feature Friday here – this time we’re highlighting arguably the best combination of foods from here to Saskatchewan! The crew at Allen St. Poutine Co., the kings of Canadian cuisine and newcomers to the Buffalo late night eats Hall of Fame, are hard at work bringing this french fry/gravy/squeaky cheese concoction to all corners of the city.

Scheduled for early 2017, Hertel Ave. Poutine & Cream will be dishing out goodies at the corners of Hertel and Sterling in North Buffalo. Now I know that name may sound like an odd pairing, but hear us out. Still serving the unique poutine creations you know and love PLUS homemade ice cream! No, not together. They’re not monsters! But, maybe… Anyway, where were we? Oh yeah, the ice cream. Think artisan flavors that you never thought possible in ice cream form, a la Sweet Jesus up in Toronto, but now you won’t have to make the trek up to the Great White North.

This seems like the perfect move for Jake, Konstantine and Marc, the partners of Allen St. Poutine. And we couldn’t be more pumped!

The gents from Allen St. Poutine are gifting $25 to their establishment to the top #RiseBFLO submission (winner below).

P.S. Pronounce it ‘pou-tin’ not ‘pou-teen’ for maximum Canadian street cred.

Long overdue for a FF win, @iamclaydavies ladies and gentlemen!

Although a slightly somber shot, Mr. Davies is a top-notch contributor to the #RiseBFLO campaign. Thanks for using the tag and consistently taking great photos! Hit us up to snag your gift card.

Today is the last day to order a rise bflo hat for you and your neighbor

(PURCHASE HERE.)
With this purchase, you also have the opportunity to help Buffalo’s newest arrivals stay warm too. For every hat sold, one more will be donated to the International Institute of Buffalo, who assists refugees and immigrants to become independent, informed and contributing members of the community, and by promoting and supporting cultural competence, multiculturalism and global connectedness throughout the region.

We’ve teamed up with Equality Knowledge and Light, a Buffalo media company, to keep the printing 100% in Buffalo.

The other awesome pics of the week. All right here.
