Buckle up! We’ve got a lot for you today. Every week, we feature a small business, non profit, artist, or advocacy group, let them hop in our blog’s DJ booth, and also round up our favorite Instagrams from the entire region. Today, we’re going to mix in the top instagrams of the week throughout this post so you can discover new accounts and four new businesses.
Remember the Queen City Pop Up last November and December? It’s back! This year in what was formerly Coffee Culture, right at the Fountain Plaza ice skating rink. There are four vendors who are making their own products themselves, and they want to meet you at their PARTY on Tuesday November 24, dubbed “TURNT UP TUESDAY” from 5P – 8P that day, or anytime they’re open, M-F 10am – 6pm, and Saturday 12 – 5pm, all the way until Christmas Eve on 12/24. (All vendor headlines act as links to their businesses)
After you push play below, and start jamming to Vulfpeck, check out your DJ, Savannah Griffith, owner of Rare Rustic Crafts, who says, “I’ve pulled together a list of favorites from my daily playlist. I listen to these when I’m whipping shea butter, making soap, and packing up products for the shop.”
Rare Rustic Crafts is a handmade bath, body and skin care business with natural, handcrafted products for men and women. My products range from beard oil and shaving cream for men, to whipped shea butter lotion and yummy body scrubs for ladies. Rare Rustic Crafts is a great stop for your holiday shopping, with prices ranging from $3 to $20, and pre-wrapped gift sets that take the guesswork out of your shopping list. Don’t miss out on Turnt Up Tuesday on 11/24 with music, refreshments, and storewide sales. Join us!
Here’s the first batch of top instagrams from around the region, with more to come after each featured business. Did your photo make the list? Be sure your account is public and you’re using #RiseBFLO in your caption or comments.

Arriving in Buffalo from Louisiana, Rudeboyz Artworks is custom t-shirts, hoodies, jackets, hats shoes and jewelry, designed by artists Qean & Nicola Ballard. Hand painted, airbrushed, heat pressed or screen-printed, their designs reflect the wearers attitude and no-nonsense trendy style.
Rudeboyz Artworks began in 2010 in Shreveport, Louisiana and relocated to Buffalo, NY in the fall of 2014. Qean and Nicola Ballard merged their artistic styles, Qean a digital, graphic and Airbrush Artist, Nicola a semi-representational visual artists added wire wrapped jewelry and her painting with his creations and most recently they added heat press and screen printed custom t-shirt to the mix. Their mission to dress the world in art. Rearranging the mindset of the average to be a more meaningful plight of thinking, innovating and pioneering with subliminal messages on apparel.

You may have seen the Buffalo Barkery around at other community events like the Allentown Fall Fest. Of their playlist above, the owners say, “Cheryl isn’t as into music as she is talk radio and for Maggie, it is quite the opposite. This is a playlist of songs that Maggie really enjoys.”
Buffalo Barkery specializes in homemade, healthy dog biscuits inspired by local Buffalo cuisine and icons. (Beef on Weck, Chicken Wing, Buffalove Pumpkin, Shark Girl, Rex Effect) All of our biscuits are made by hand in small batches with human grade ingredients and no preservatives. We also have a wide variety of items for dogs and dog lovers, all made in the USA.
