If you’re at work on this, the Friday after Thanksgiving, well… crap. There’s nothing we can say to make you feel better. But you’re here! You want a new playlist. You want to meet the sisters who own the new lingerie store in Allentown, and you want to see the coolest instagrams all in one place. Unlike your boss, we won’t let you down.

Thanksgiving is behind us, and you know it means that it’s time to start shopping for the people you care about. This doesn’t have to be something you dread. If you follow us on Instagram – we hope you do by now – you’ll see we’ve been highlighting the shops that are owned locally and are open here in the city. Just picture yourself walking down the street, seeing something in a storefront, and when you go inside, there’s no line! Better yet, there’s a restaurant next door with no wait where you can have a seat and enjoy the company of whomever you’re with. Take your time. Relax. Have fun.

One such neighborhood where this kind of magic can happen is our own Allentown. By walking a few doors south on Franklin from Allen, you’ll discover Lace & Day in a beautiful building on your left. Lace & Day, Buffalo’s premier bra-fitting, lingerie, and sleepwear boutique, opened in late September and has been transforming women’s bodies ever since! Owned by sisters Emily Constantine Doren and Holly Constantine Ortman, the goal at Lace & Day is to find the perfect fit for each customer. Their specialty is bra fitting where they strive to find the perfect size and style for each body and lifestyle. They carry a wide range of sizes, 30-44 band and A-H cups, with some I cups as well. The styles vary to suit a variety of customers and body types, from beautiful laces to perfectly smooth T-shirt bras, and of course, all the matching panties to complete the look!

The store carries sleepwear ranging from comfy and cozy to classy-sexy with offerings from big names like Natori and lesser known brands Bed Head and B Up. They also feature Saxx boxer briefs for the gents, which are life-changing, chafe-proof underwear! The Lace & Day girls also have a bevy of unique offering at their Solution Station, a destination for tricks of the trade for those dresses and tops you cannot wear with a normal bra.

Their professional bra-fitting service is unlike any other in Western New York!
