Feature Friday 12.11.15 – C Designs

Is it hard to decorate your home without any snow on the ground? Here’s the deal! Snow or no snow, you gotta take those pictures of THE LIGHTS. Street lights, ornamental lights, tail lights, candles, the lights you climbed a ladder to hang from your roof, or the lights on the tree your decorated with your kid. We’ve been admiring her work ever since we met her at last year’s Public Espresso pop-up during Peace, Love, & Grant Street. I illustrate and create stationery and art prints. Current themes in my work include vintage everyday objects, with a mid century influence, food, specifically farm fresh produce and Buffalo, NY’s abundant beauty. My style is reductionist with a bit of whimsy and evokes a pleasant sense of nostalgia.
