Have you been down to the Theatre District lately? Do you realize how lucky we are as a city of our size to have such an abundant scene? It’s honestly not something to take for granted. Get into supporting local theatre now and you’ll be a fan for life. For the next three weeks, we’re going to highlight one of our favorites – The Irish Classical Theatre at 625 Main St, just a few feet away from Expo. ICTC has one of the most intimate experiences in the city. The audience sits on all four sides of the stage, which allows their supremely talented actors to pull you directly into their world.
We’ve been checking out the rehearsals for their upcoming show, Seedbed, and we cannot wait to see the whole show. We’ll have promotions over the next two weeks that dive deeper into the theatre and the show itself, but we want to tell you about a special night for friends of Rise! On Thursday, March 16, you can purchase tickets to see Seedbed at a discounted rate of only $25. The only special instructions are that you must call into the ticket booth and use RISE as your promo while purchasing over the phone.
