We’re planning all of our 2016 events, and so are you. But who is doing the food? Why not knock the socks off your guests by hiring Private Knives? Their playlist reflects their work ethic: Work Hard and Have Fun! We’ve included some chill tracks for when you just need to zen out, a few party anthems that get us revved up, and some good old Grateful Dead tunes for once we’ve pushed dinner out the doors and can finally breathe again.
Welcome to our new website! We’re still hammering out some details and capabilities. Apparel will return one day soon, we promise. (Thanks for buying it all up!) A calendar feature is also on the way. We’re talking about events all the time and we want to make sure you know about them in advance. So keep checking in. We’ve got new content and more surprises up our sleeves. On with the show!
When you throw a party that you want your guests to remember, you don’t skip over any details. It’s more than just making sure nothing goes wrong. You want to exceed everyone’s expectations. Speaking from personal experience at events large and small we’ve attended that have been catered by Amy and her team at Private Knives, people LOVE IT. We’ll let her tell you all about it:
What started a small catering company hosting backyard parties in Amy’s own backyard in November 2011 has now grown into a multi location soup-to-nuts catering solution complete with its own Executive Chef, in-house Graphic Designer, and three season Sidewalk Café that is open to the public. We offer custom menu building, event planning and coordination, invitation packages, and so much more. Gone are the days of small cocktail parties as we welcome large, full scale, 200+ people weddings this summer.
The food philosophy has always been simple at Private Knives Catering: listen to what the client wants, and then – make it better! We approach each wedding as a new custom-built event with all of it’s own intricacies and details. We focus on foods that the couples love, traditional recipes from their respective heritages, and any family dishes that may be important to the couple. Our goal is to tell the story of the couple and blend the two new families together through food.
While weddings are what we are prepping for right now as we move into the spring and summer months, we still hold cocktail parties, engagement dinners, and corporate events very near and dear to our hearts. We offer a variety of boxed lunch solutions, day-of snacks and refreshments for events, and passed appetizers — delightfully mini culinary works of art — that could rival any catering company in a big city.
Private Knives Café is open Monday through Saturday from 11am-3pm and is located at 5472 Broadway in the Village of Lancaster. Call in your order to 716-288-7007 or visit our website: www.privateknives.com. You can also stop in and see us at the Secrets of the Trade Workshop at Costamagna Design on Sunday, April 24, 2016.
