But what are you doing *after* Canalside?

Lockhouse Distillery, located just a few hundred feet to the south east of the waterfront concert series, likes to throw a concert series of their own afterward every Thursday. Did you know they were the first distillery to open in Buffalo since Prohibition? You may have seen their standout bottles around town – producing my favorite local gin, as well as vodka, barrel-aged gin, bitters and more. It’s for sale in local stores and inside local bars, but you can also check out their products right at the source, inside their facility in the Cobblestone District.

Their concert series kicked off this week at 10PM, the same day as Canalside’s first concert of the year on June 15th. Music goers can expect to see a variety of acts that reflect the genre of music featured at the Canalside show.

Similar to last year’s summer concert series hosted at Lockhouse Distillery & Bar, this year’s weekly lineup features notable local Buffalo artists such as Dreambeaches, First Ward, Tim Mitchum & The Outfit, PA Line, The Chronic Collective, and many more. Though focusing on high profile local talent, the series brings in large regional acts such as Looms from New York City, playing August 10th.

Cover for the Afterparty Concert Series are $5 per show with acts starting at 10:00PM. Lockhouse will have a special cocktail menu during the shows featuring its house made spirits and selection of packaged and draft beers!
